All Stretton
There are still buildings in All Stretton that date back to the early 16th century. Until the beginning of the 19th century virtually every house in the village was a farmhouse. To discover more visit All Stretton History Group’s own website www.https//allstrettonhistory.org.uk, which provides a useful introduction to the village.
There is a small National Trust car park in Batch Valley and footpaths from here gently lead up onto the Long Mynd and to a bunk house. There are also various footpaths which can be taken to return to Church Stretton. These paths can be found on the Yellow Walk map Around & About the Long Mynd which can be purchased at the Visitor Information Centre, Outdoor Depot and Burway Books.
