All Stretton

There are still buildings in All Stretton that date back to the early 16^th century. Until the beginning of the 19^th century virtually every house in the village was a farmhouse. There is a small National Trust car park in Batch Valley and footpaths from here gently lead up onto the Long Mynd and to a bunk house. There are also various footpaths which can be taken to return to Church Stretton. These paths can be found on the Yellow Walk map Around & About the Long Mynd which can be purchased at the Visitor Information Centre, Outdoor Depot and Burway Books.
