Church Stretton is a busy, historic, market town and is the only town in the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It earned the nickname ‘Little Switzerland’ from its picturesque setting in the Shropshire Hills.Today Church Stretton, together with its immediate neighbours All Stretton and Little Stretton, is a centre for outdoor activities: walking, mountain bikes, cycling, running and orienteering.

The town and its immediate neighbours is home to independent and interesting shops, brewery and free-house pubs, cafés and restaurants and a variety of accommodation including B&B’s and self-catering.
