The More Singer’s look forward to welcoming you to their 2025 Spring Concert on Saturday 29 March 2025 at the Church Stretton Methodist Church.

The concert will include Gabriel Fauré’s widely acclaimed ‘Requiem’ with its ethereal beauty which has universal appeal and Felix Mendlessohn  ‘Hear my prayer’ which evokes a far-away place of peace and rest.

There will also be beautiful church music from the 20th Century including ‘Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis’ by Herbert Murill, Edward Elgar’s lovely setting of ‘Ave Verum’, Henry Balfour-Gardiner’s powerful yet plaintive ‘Evening Hymn’ and the uplifting ‘Te Deum lauamus’ by Charles Villiers Stanford.
