About Cycling in Church Stretton.
There are circular cycling routes starting from Church Stretton including:
- To the Edge & Roman Road Ride - relatively flat routes on quiet country roads.
- Long Mynd Route - steep climbs and descents along quite country roads and stone free forestry tracks.
- Church Stretton Challenge - off road mountain bike route with testing climbs and descents along the top of the Long Mynd.
The Long Mynd in Carding Mill has been described in mountain bike magazines as one of the top places for mountain bike riding in the UK. There are also other mountain bike trails nearby at Eastridge woods and Hopton woods.
