The Big Butterfly Count (Discovery Centre, Craven Arms)

The Hungry Caterpillar and beautiful butterflies.  3 - 11 years old.  Choose from several caterpillar nad butterfly crafts adn then go out into the meadows to see what we can find.  £2.50 for accompanied 3 - 7 year olds.

For older children and adults@ Join Rhona from Butterfly Conservation for a walk and survey of the butterflies found in the Onny Meadows.  Learn about our butterfly garden and the plants you need at home to attract butterflies and find out more about how you can get involved.

As of Monday 24th July, visitors to Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre will be able to enjoy new interactive exhibits as well as the refurbished rotunda area and BRAND NEW panoramic film. Ready for the Summer Holidays, bring the whole family to enjoy the fun activities throughout the exhibition and learn about the Shropshire Hills. Of course, you’ll need to say “hello” to the Condover Mammoth on your way in too!
